Keys Top Shelf Rock (KTSR) alternative provides yet another beautiful rock; teeming with life a plethora of inverts and stony coral colonies. This rock is for our customers that want hitchhikers more than color. With all the bio filtration qualities plus the critters and stony coral, KTSR is more tolerant to swings in salinity and temperature.
Live Base Rock (LBR) is a result of the hand-sorting process that goes on once the rock is placed in our holding tanks and we see that some of the selections do not meet the high quality standards of porosity, color or life-form attachment for our Keys Premium or Top-Shelf. This rock is kept in the same holding systems.
Keys Deco Select Dry base rock (KDS) . This is the rock that makes a difference in your aquarium. You've gone through all the expenses to get set up and you know that establishing an environment for your marine life is very important. The cracks, holes and crevices as well as your ability to configure the rock to your satisfaction should be the key to your decision-making process. Hideouts, protective areas and homes are throughout this rock. You do not have to buy Florida Deco to use as base rock unless you demand the very best product available.
In the future, as this new product begins to colonize, it will be made available as live rock. Until then it is a great addition to your tank or is capable of being set with other life producing live rock for faster acclimation.
